Educational Programs
JCBIA is committed to keeping members informed with quarterly seminars at our General Membership meetings, featuring expert speakers on industry-related topics such as future business and retail growth, state and county regulations, contract law, material pricing and more. We also host an annual Economic Development Forum, providing key insights into Johnston County’s future. Additionally, JCBIA offers Continuing Education classes for builders, ensuring they meet the 8-hour CE requirement set by the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors. Health Insurance:
Your membership gives you access to medical, dental and vision insurance through Blue Cross NC, as well as group life and disability through other carriers. Any JCBIA member with at least 2 employees is eligible and can join the health plan at any time throughout the year.
Commercial Insurance:
Builders Mutual Insurance Company is endorsed by the NCHBA to provide all commercial lines of insurance coverage to its members. Their WorkSafe Workers’ Comp is known as the industry standard and offers features such as job site evaluations to help prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
